Zacdaddy Tools is operated by a UK-based sole trader. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “Zacdaddy” mean that operator. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@zacdaddytools.com.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These Terms apply alongside any rights and responsibilities imposed by applicable law.

Zacdaddy provides free browser-based calculators, converters, generators, text tools and developer utilities. At the date above, the website has no user accounts, subscriptions, payments or advertising. It does not sell, offer or arrange financial products or professional services.

You may use the site for normal personal or business purposes. You remain responsible for how you use a tool, the information you enter and the decisions you make from its output.

Please do not use Zacdaddy Tools to:

• break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
• disrupt, overload, damage or interfere with the website or another visitor;
• bypass security controls, origin checks, rate limits or access restrictions;
• probe, attack or attempt unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure or connected services;
• introduce malicious code or make abusive automated requests; or
• misuse the Contact form, including to send spam, unlawful material or harmful content.

These restrictions do not prevent ordinary use of developer utilities such as the JSON Formatter or Regex Tester.

Zacdaddy’s tools are designed to provide useful calculations, conversions and outputs. Results can nevertheless be affected by the information you enter, assumptions, rounding, browser behaviour, reference data, third-party information, implementation limits and changes in laws, rates or standards.

We aim to keep the tools accurate and useful, but do not guarantee that every result is correct or suitable for every legal, financial, medical, employment, commercial or technical purpose. Check important results independently and use an official source or appropriately qualified professional where the consequences of an error would materially matter.

The VAT, percentage, percentage-difference, discount, tip, salary, unit-price and profit-margin tools provide mathematical calculations or illustrations from the values you enter. They do not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or employment advice. VAT rates, tax treatment, employment terms, fees and commercial rules can change or depend on individual circumstances.

Verify any result used for a tax return, invoice, payroll decision, contract, pricing decision or other important financial purpose against current official guidance and, where appropriate, professional advice.

Loan-repayment and compound-interest results are illustrative models. Actual products and outcomes can differ because of fees, compounding methods, payment timing, variable rates, provider rounding, taxes, early-repayment terms and other conditions. Zacdaddy does not lend money, assess affordability, recommend investments or offer or arrange financial products.

The Currency Converter retrieves exchange-rate information from the third-party Frankfurter service. Its reference data is not a guaranteed real-time trading rate. The rate offered by a bank, card provider, payment service, bureau de change or cash provider may differ and may include fees, margins or commissions. Check the actual provider’s rate and charges before making a transaction.

The BMI Calculator provides a general measurement based on the height and weight entered. It is a screening aid, not a medical diagnosis, individual medical advice or a substitute for assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional. Seek appropriate medical guidance if you have concerns about your health.

The Age, Date Difference, Working Days and Time Duration tools can assist with planning. The Working Days Calculator applies weekends and built-in UK bank-holiday rules for the selected nation; it does not obtain a live official calendar and does not include every local, employer-specific or organisation-specific holiday.

Independently verify dates connected with legal or contractual deadlines, employment matters, financial deadlines or official submissions. A tool result does not determine when a legal deadline expires.

The Carpet Area, Paint, Electricity Cost and Fuel Cost tools produce estimates from the measurements, usage, tariffs, prices and assumptions supplied. Actual quantities and costs can differ because of room shape, seams, coverage, wastage, product characteristics, appliance behaviour, energy tariffs, vehicle efficiency, driving conditions and changing fuel prices. Allow a suitable real-world margin and check product or provider information before purchasing or budgeting.

The Password and Passphrase Generator is intended to help create credentials, but no generator can guarantee that a password will never be compromised, that an account or system will be secure, or that a result meets every service’s password policy. Security also depends on uniqueness, safe storage, the security of the service where the credential is used and other protections such as multi-factor authentication.

You are responsible for content encoded in a QR code and must have the right to use it. Check the encoded text or destination and test the finished code before publishing, printing or relying on it. Zacdaddy does not control or endorse a destination supplied by a user.

Text and developer tools are utilities intended to assist your work. Test outputs before using them in a production system. The Regex Tester follows JavaScript RegExp behaviour, which can differ from other regular-expression engines. The JSON Formatter checks whether input can be parsed as JSON; it does not validate the data against an application schema or prove that it is safe or suitable for a particular system.

JSON and QR downloads are created locally by your browser. You are responsible for checking downloaded or copied output before using or distributing it.

Zacdaddy’s tools process the information you enter locally in your browser. Tool input is not sent to Zacdaddy’s servers. The Currency Converter sends only the selected currency codes to Frankfurter; the amount entered remains in the browser. The Contact form is separate and deliberately sends the information you provide so that the enquiry can be delivered.

Only enter, encode, process, copy or download content that you are legally entitled to use. We do not claim ownership of information you enter or the calculation results and locally generated outputs produced from it. Zacdaddy’s branding and original website design, written content, tool interfaces and source code are protected only to the extent that the relevant rights belong to the operator. Third-party and open-source software, factual or reference data, public material and externally linked content remain subject to their own rights and licences. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to Zacdaddy or to a visitor.

You may use the website normally, but may not falsely present Zacdaddy’s branding or original content as your own, or reproduce a substantial part of the site in a way that infringes applicable rights.

Frankfurter supplies currency reference data, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the Contact form from abuse. The site also links to external guidance and information. Third parties control their own services, availability, content and terms. A link does not mean Zacdaddy endorses everything on an external website. Privacy-related details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

We may maintain, improve, correct, add, change or discontinue tools and features. We do not promise that every tool or the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Where practical, changes will be made to keep the collection useful rather than to disrupt ordinary use.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.

Subject to that paragraph and to the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or losses arising from inaccurate information supplied by a user, a failure to make reasonable independent checks, third-party data or services, or interruption of the free service. This section is not intended to remove responsibility where the operator has failed to use reasonable care or has otherwise breached a duty imposed by law.

Zacdaddy Tools is a general-audience utility website and is not specifically directed at children. Children should use the site with suitable involvement from a parent or guardian, particularly where a result could affect an important decision or where the Contact form is used.

These Terms and use of the site are subject to the law applicable in the part of the United Kingdom where the operator is established, unless another law must apply. If you use the site as a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections available under the law where you live and may use any court available to you under applicable law.

We may update these Terms when the website, its tools, providers or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date will show when the published Terms were most recently revised. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply from the time they are published, subject to applicable law.
