The result separates complete calendar years, months and days. It also shows total months, completed weeks, total elapsed days and the date of the next birthday, so you can use whichever form of the answer fits your task.
Calendar months do not all contain the same number of days, and leap years add an extra day. That is why an exact age cannot be found reliably by dividing the total number of days by 365. The calculator advances through full calendar years and months first, then counts the remaining days.
From 1 January 2000 to 1 January 2025 is exactly 25 years.
The same period contains 300 complete calendar months, while the total-day figure also reflects leap years.
