For example, 1920 × 1080, 1280 × 720 and 3840 × 2160 are all 16:9. The preset buttons provide quick starting proportions without claiming that one exact pixel size is required by every website or platform.
Choose a new width to calculate the matching height, or choose a new height to calculate the matching width. The calculator preserves the original ratio internally and shows the scale percentage relative to the original dimensions.
Pixel dimensions normally need whole numbers in an export tool. When a calculation produces a fraction, the displayed result retains useful precision; round it sensibly for the destination while keeping the same proportions.
